OUR LONG FLAX FIBRES

Scutched Flax

Close-up of several blond hair wigs stacked together.

A Scutched flax is raw linen fiber at its purest form. After retting and breaking, the woody stem is mechanically removed — leaving long clean bundles of natural flax fiber. Available in custom grades, lengths and fineness to match your exact production specification.

It is used for wet spinning, fine linen yarn, premium woven fabric, and bio composite reinforcement. The foundation of high-quality linen production.

Hackled Flax in sliver

Close-up of wavy, blonde hair strands.

Hackled flax in sliver is the finest form of long linen fiber. Scutched flax is drawn through precision metal combs — straightening, cleaning and aligning every fiber into a continuous, silky ribbon. Available in a wide range of grades to match your exact spinning specification.

It is used for luxury yarn spinning, high-end fashion fabric, premium bed linen, and technical textile requiring ultra-fine, aligned fiber.

OUR SHORT FLAX FIBRES

Loose, light-colored wool or fiber.

Hackled Tow

Hackled tow is short flax fiber separated during the hackling process — cleaner, finer and more refined than scutched tow. Consistent in quality and lower in shive content, it is the preferred short fiber grade for quality yarn spinning and technical applications. Graded to your exact specification

It is used for quality yarn spinning, fine nonwoven fabric, and technical composite applications. Cleaner and finer than scutched tow.
